“First and foremost, I want to thank you and all your volunteers for giving me an awesome gift of independence. I now can come and go as I would like to. For too many years all I could do was sit at the front door and stare into the abyss of what my life was like before the wheelchair ramp.” – 2023 San Antonio Ramp Recipient
Have you ever changed a person’s life in a single day?
The Texas Ramp Project (TRP) does it over 2,400 times a year! We build wheelchair ramps for disabled or elderly people who can’t afford to buy one. In a few hours on a Saturday morning, we give these folks the freedom to leave their home again – the home where they want to remain but whose steps have imprisoned them.
