The Texas Ramp Project

Building Freedom for the Homebound

Lubbock

The volunteers of the Texas Ramp Project in Lubbock started building wheelchair ramps for the low-income disabled in September 2008.  Since then we have averaged building one ramp a month for those in need. Our service area extends to Bailey, Cochran, Crosby, Dickens, Floyd, Garza, Hale, Hockley, King, Lamb, Lubbock, Lynn, Motley, Terry, and Yoakum  counties.

The Ramp Project only accepts client referrals from social service agencies.

Social workers can refer clients via our referral page

If you are interested in volunteering, please select the Calendar link to see future module building and ramp installation dates.  Email the contact person for the building date of your choice to volunteer for that date.

The Lubbock TRP group builds modules on the second Sat. of the month in preparation for ramps built later in the month.  We currently have 3 teams building ramps on various Saturdays throughout the month.  Please check the Calendar for dates and times that these groups will be building, or call (806) 392-4431 for more information.
